More interesting, I think, is that life steal doesn't count as damage either. Perhaps an amity degen monk and a couple touchers?

wouldn't work practically anywhere.

even at max degen (20dps) killing would take ages and even bad monks should outheal that.

adjacent foes can't attack, that still means they can use skills. to be honest it's more the skills that damage me than the attacks. so really i don't see the point ^^
still good thinking

From what wiki says, using a skill that does damage is considered an attack skill, hence it attacks, which I would think would get stopped by Amity. Now, things such as Spells and Signet would most likely be unaffected. Yes a spell is a skill but it is not considered an attack skill.

I wonder how this would fair against other skills that cause "health loss" which is technically not damage, such as:

[Spoil Victor][Grenth's Balance]
[vampirism][bloodsong][agony]

Also worth noting though [animate vampiric horror] gives health back to its master when it hits something, I dont know if it is considered as "vampiric" which is also technically not considered damage.

If you could find a way of dealing 0 dmg with a weapon but having a vampiric mod on it, you could also theoretically swing a melee weapon such as a Scythe, which is what led me to think of [illusionary weaponry] but I would think that it woudnt work.

for cheap laughs run a degen amity monk or n/mo in AB - its hilarious how many people stand around raging at not being able to atk but not running away allowing me to reapply my degens...fun...or mo/me with arcane echo for perma [amity] along with conjure nightmare / phantasm etc.

Weapon:
Rangers: Unequip weapon for Rangers to not cause accidental damage

Equipment:
Everyone: 16AR with +10 vs Cold dmg can be helpful due to the converted elemental damage from Winter
Rangers: Frostbound Insignias can provide +15AR vs Cold dmg because of Winter also

I coudnt think of some of the empty slots so please help me out. This could be fun after all It's very interesting skill though. I hope someone finds a good use for it.

Fixed the gwBBcode... seems to me that he was using "skill" instead of "empty" inside the brackets for open slots, and that was causing all sorts of ruckus... Tyrael_Eveningsong

The Rit spirits do lifesteal on attack, so that is going to break [[Amity] right there, as would [[Signet of Corruption].

If you are going to do this, it would be best to use Degen, and get ready for Hex Removal, that will kill the gimmick faster than you can type "wtf?".

Spells aren't considered attacks, they are typed as spells. Casters won't be able to wand you (oh gods no, NOT THE WAND DOMAGE!) but they will be able to cast right through [[Amity], if it even manages to hit a caster (you got adjacent with their backline on a squishie? kudos to you)
.

Yes your right about the spirits. It was an idea I had and I thought It would work. I have also added supplemental degen for things that may not stack by using [ether nightmare] though I may have gone a little overboard but as you said, there can be hex removal so it is helpful.

The problem through is, what to replace the ritualist with, or if left in place, what to change his skills to and what to do about spell damage so I've added the ritualist to assist with party healing.

Yeah, took that out. Seemed like a good idea at the time when I was looking for spirits but then I remembered the conditions of Amity

Why design and organize a whole team build to be less effective than anything else and to run a bad monk elite?

Sure it'll be "fun" and borderline "viable" if you mean beating NM missions, but I could do the same with 8 monks with just ray of judgment and healing breeze.

You can't hex spirits.
